First Aid Club
This club is run by Miss Ryder apopular teacher. It is a new club and for Years 5 and 6. The childrenhave been using mod rock as well as painting materials. The club iswell attended and all the children are very enthusiastic and we cansee that Torridon has many talented up and coming artists.
First Aid Club
This club is run by Mrs Thomas,our Clerical Officer in school. She is a very experienced first aiderqualifying through the St. John Ambulance. The children in the clubtake their St. John Ambulance Young Life Saver Award. They learn thefour stages of emergency aid procedures: assess, make safe, emergencyaid and get help. The skills the children learn are important andwill give them confidence to deal with an emergency situation shouldthe need arise.
