Disneyland here we come!

Back in February 1998 my family and I went to Disneyland Paris.

The journey was quick and easy going by the channel tunnel but the drive from the tunnel to Disney land was long and tiring. The French have no idea of speed limits it seems and it was quite a harrowing journey.

There were no signs telling you that you were near or even in the right direction until half an hour before hitting Disneyland itself.

Once there the accommodation was clean and spacious but if your an oldie like me and enjoy the odd cuppa then you're out of luck as there are no facilities in your room. You can hire a kettle from reception but we did not realise this as it wasn't very well publicised.

Here comes the best bit.

The rides are fantastic!

There are so many different sections to go to and so many things to go on such as:

Frontierland: it's made up of rides and restaurants all in the style of the wild west.

Fantasyland: this is a must for younger children. The colours and scenery are beautiful, just right for a bit of magic which you seem to expect from Disney.

Adventureland is not as big as the other land but still good for the rides it has and again each part has it's own style with restaurants to fit in with the theme of the land.
