Children started school at the age of 7 wear they would learn reading,writing,and arithmetic.Schools days would start at dawn and finished early afternoon,summer hoildays were from July till October.Very few girls went to school it was considered unnecessary.Pen and inks were used on papyrus which were made into scrolls.Papyrus were made from flattened leavea of a water plant found mainley in Egypt.
