The school was run by nuns. It was a big school. There were more than 1000 children in the school. The children and the teachers spoke Tamil and English. There was a big playground in the middle of the school. There were lots of books to choose from in the Library and there was a chapel in the school, next to the convent. There was a grotto too. There were lots of plants and flowers around the school. My mum travelled by car to her school. She saw buses, vans, shops and people on her way to school. |

I have a vase that's very tall. I don't have that much things from Sri Lanka. Mostly I have things from England. I like the vase because it was made for me on my birthday. Last week we were talking about our heritage. This means where our parents come from. I have a mug that says Sri Lanka. The mug is from Sri Lanka my friends bought it for me, it was made by my uncle. When my friends bought the mug it was white and they painted it for me. |
