Computers and peripherals
Hardware for Evaluation at the Centre
The ICT Centre has a wide range of hardware: Windows PC and eMac
computers. These computers have access to the Internet through a 10MB Broadband
connection. Peripherals available for use at the centre include: digital
cameras and camcorders, scanners, Floor Turtles, control and datalogging
kits, digital microscopes, data projectors, web cams and Interactive Whiteboards.
These peripherals are available for use at the centre and some are available
for short term loan (n.b. this does not include the Interactive Whiteboard).
The centre also has a small number of Laptop computers available on short
term loan for teachers who are developing ICT materials to share with other
schools through publication.
Teachers can visit the centre to try out the computers and peripherals. Some peripherals can also be loaned for short periods of time. To find out more and arrange a visit contact:
